We fish from "Joe's Point", two minutes from the lodge to Spider Islands and the "Coop", our Halibut grounds. Fish literally swim right by our front door. Our Lodge & Accommodations At Joe's Salmon Lodge, we've spared no effort to make your stay one of comfort and ease. There are 12 spacious double units, each complete with a private ensuite and features that can only be called deluxe. You'll awake refreshed and ready each morning for a big day on the water. In addition, Joe's features a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern amenities and a nice lounge to relax in after your dinner. In every respect, it's the good life at Joe's Salmon Lodge! Many of our guests choose to fish from sun-up to sun-down, and only the lure of our delicious home-cooked meals can coax them off the water. After an early morning camp-style breakfast, we bring box lunches, extra beverages, bait, leaders and tackle right to you on your boat on the fishing grounds daily at 10:00 am with the optional hot lunch back at camp from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Then back at the lodge enjoy a fabulous full course dinner each evening. Our skilled kitchen staff lay a table that's the envy of the coast. Little Barge - a private cabin with deluxe accommodations and all amenities. Our newest addition features a spacious lounge with wet bar and sleeping facilities for 6-9 guests. Joe's Salmon Lodge features a fleet of 17-foot custom designed Boston Whaler fishing boats with new 50 h.p. four-stroke Mercury electric start outboards to travel and fish. They are the nicest of any of the U-drive lodges on the B.C. coast. A VHF marine radio, comfortable twin swivel captains' chairs and dual fuel tanks for those extra long fishing days are only a few features of our custom designed fishing machines. Joe's supplies all rods, reels, tackle, rain gear, boots and life jackets while your are at the lodge. We provide 10 1/2 foot Daiwa mooching rods with your choice of single action or star drag reels. Heavier rods and reels for bottom fishing are available. And like everything at Joe's, all equipment is in A-1 shape. Hakai Pass - Short 360 to Pt.
